My client is one of the leading organisations within the Air Conditioning industry in the UK. They are looking to expand their national sales team with the acquisition of a Business Development Manager who will generate profitable revenue through the effective sales and promotion of air conditioning installation, service and maintenance packages. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Maintain and develop new and existing customer base.
- Carry out professional site surveys / specifications, then provide relevant costing and quotations within agreed timescales.
- Generate leads through account management, internal sales team's sourcing and cold calls.
- Have equal sales focus on installation, service and maintenance.
- To liaise with other sectors of workforce to ensure most effective time-management.
- Produce relevant reports including sales tracking and diary management.
- Constantly look to improve sales & product training knowledge.
- Ensure all work is carried out to industry and company standards.

A proven sales record within the industry is desirable. However, somebody who is technically sound with strong installation knowledge in Air Conditioning systems, coupled with a real enthusiasm and desire to learn and succeed in a sales role would be equally considered.

In return, an excellent basic salary with a rewarding commission structure is offered, along with company vehicle, laptop & mobile. Private health care and pension schemes are awarded following an initial period.
