Live Event Role: Service Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 plus health care, life insurance, 28 days holiday, pension scheme, uniform, regular social events and team activities.
Event Industry Service Management Role:
This role will support the service operations of a large and busy event company that provides rental equipment to the live event industry and event production services.
With thousands of pieces of kit that needs to be checked before and after rental it gets busy!
You’ll need to manage the daily operations of a busy service department including team management, liaising with manufacturers for product training, ensuring that all kit is maintained and repaired to company standards and compliant with any applicable certifications (electrical or LOLER for example). You’ll need to flag if any repairs will affect product or production commitments and track any associated costs.
The role will report to the warehouse manager and involve working with the wider warehouse management team and the heads of departments.
Requirements for the Service Department Manager:
Technical event kit knowledge
Service department experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Package available for the right person:
