My client is a OEM of end of line flexible packaging machines that include carton & case machines, suppling machines worldwide to the food & pharmaceutical industry my client employs 30 staff members in the UK.
Role
- Office/Field based sales role 50/50
- Consultative selling of capital equipment
- Visiting customers sites across the UK
- Cold calling prospective new customers
- Role is 90% new business
- Experience of holding a technical conversation with engineering managers ect
- Providing quotations & proposals
- Eager & willing to be proactive in your approach to sales. Hunter not a gatherer
Requirements/Skills
- Mechanical bias engineering with electrical understanding
- Experience on mechanical systems no qualifications needed
- Open to travel and be OK with staying nights away
- Some experience of selling capital equipment or technical products such as tooling from a manufacturing/production perspective
