A brilliant opportunity has come up to work with a packaging manufacturer that has sites across the UK and South East Asia in the Retail, FMCG, Ecommerce, Consumables, Redistribution industries.
The company has been running for 50+ years as a manufacturer and are now seeking an account manager who can grow accounts and generate new business, but also someone who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.
This role is hybrid working, but with travel due to the nature of the role. The role is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now actively looking to recruit a sales professional who is driven and is looking for progression.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around growing given account and creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
- A minimum of 3-6 years+ experience in packaging or FMCG sector is preference, but other areas will be considered.
- You must be happy dealing with million-pound accounts and building on your successes.
- A sense of business relationships and customer service
- High interest in the technical dimension of the products
- Must be able to manage customer expectations, dealing with stakeholders and working alongside senior management to improve the business on a whole.
