Commercial Catering Installation Engineer
North East
Permanent position - £12 - £17 Per hour depending on experience & Location
24 holidays + Bank holiday, Company vehicle, fuel card, pension
Trading for over 20 years my client has become one of the leading companies within the business, as part of a larger group they are well supported and would be a great team to join to further grow your career. They have done local schools, academies, hotels such as Hilton and Marriot hotels as well as working with the NHS and construction companies. A lot of their business comes from repeat customers or referrals from them.
They have a strong apprenticeship programme which allows them to keep bringing future engineers into the industry and this has allowed them to grow a strong and loyal team.
The Role:
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial catering
- You will be doing installations, testing, and commissioning on food service equipment
- Assisting the handovers to client and ensuring all post job snagging is complete.
- You will be expected to complete the relevant job sheets and on site rams and will occasionally do warranty support
- You will be expected to work on your own
- Monday to Friday with no weekend work and option to start and finish early
Experience and Skills required:
- Proven experience in commercial catering or gas, plumbing and Electrical would be considered
- Hold valid qualifications in the industry (COMCAT / COCATA)
- CSCS card, SSTS or 17 editions would be advantageous
- Preferably 3 years experience but would consider someone with little experience
- Full UK driving licence (Happy to travel)
