Electrical maintenance engineer

My client is looking for an Electrical biased maintenance engineer to join their team of experienced maintenance engineers, working primarily with the electrical issues across various machinery, no 2 days will be the same! This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical maintenance engineer to take on a new challenge within a busy environment working on both pre planned and reactive maintenance.

Title –  Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to –Technical Production Manager
Location - Bentham
Salary - £30,317 + £2760 Shift allowance, over time paid at 1.5 and x2, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, Life insurance, Pension and Sick pay scheme.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Complete PPM and reactive maintenance work.
• Follow HSE guideline and company processes.
• Provide support and technical assistance to other departments and team members when required.
• Carrying out mechanical maintenance repairs on a range of machinery.
• Complete all required documentation of maintenance work correctly.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering/maintenance or similar.
• Have good understanding of Electrics and be mechanically minded.
• Have 17^th/18^th Edition.
• An understanding of 3 phase electrical components, variable speed drives and PLC instrumentation is advatangeous.
• Having experience working within a similar position is advantageous.
• Experience of fault finding and trouble shooting.
• Have a good HSE understanding.
• Team player.
• A want to learn and improve as an engineer.
• Good communication skills – verbally and written.
