Looking to work on large Packaging projects?
Our client is looking for an Equipment Technician to join their team at their office in Essex. This role will require you to be in office 5 times a week on the shop floor. You will be joining a team of 5 Technicians who will be able to provide support to you during your training period.
This company manufacturer a wide range of Packaging Machinery to the Aerosol and Pharmaceutical Industries. Most of their large clients are based around the world with most being in Germany, Italy, India, and the United States. There will be an aspect of travel with this role so willingness to travel is crucial. 1-2 weeks away every 2 months should be expected. With this, all expenses for hotels, food & drinks and travel will be covered.
Main responsibilities of the Technician:
- Assemble and test the machinery before being sent out
- Build machine up from scratch off mechanical drawings
- Testing and Fault-finding on Pneumatic systems (training provided if not fully competent)
- Commissioning and Installation of machines
Experience Looking for:
- Good Mechanical Experience
- Working off Mechanical drawings, building machines
- Commissioning and installation of machines – Desirable
