Our client who specialises in Installing Inspection and weighing equipment are looking for a Field Service Engineer to cover the South East of England.

This company manufactures their own machinery as well as being a long-time partner with Minebea. The machinery is primarily installed into food processing factories at the end of production lines. They install Check-weighers, X-ray, and inspection systems to some of the biggest food companies around the UK.

For this role you would be expected to do around 25,000 miles in the year and the company tries there best to not have any overnight stays as most of there is commissioning and breakdown coverage. Overtime is paid on any hours done after 40 hours in the week, also any hours done after 6pm are also paid as overtime. You could expect to see +£8,000 in overtime.

Main Responsibilities:

• Out on the road travelling too site
• Perform Breakdown and Commissioning work at site
• Providing quality customer service when visiting clients
• Complete training provided at office and able to shadow engineers
• PLC fault finding and occasional Electronics work

Experience looking for:

• Good mechanical Experience working on machines
• Experience completing commissioning and install work
• PLC experience (Desirable – not essential)
• Worked in the food industry (Desirable – Not essential)
