Position - Motor Vehicle Technician
Location - Clayton-le-Moors
Salary/Package - £25,000 - £32,000 (dependant on experience), PPE/Tools provided, 24 days holiday excluding Banks, Working Pension
Mon - Fri - 40 hour weekClient
My client specialise in all types of Health Sector projects, ranging from full ward refurbishments, change of use, general facilities and building maintenance.
With this comes a fleet of Vehicles; 100 Vans, and up to a dozen cars, they'll all need a service throughout the year, maintenance & repair, and likely road side assistants.
Fancy your own Garage/Unit, well you will get one, and be incharge of tools, layout and upkeep!
Job Purpose
We are looking for people with experience of servicing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, and who are qualified to Level 3 in, Maintenance Repair or equivalent.
As a technician you will be responsible for detecting and diagnosing vehicles faults to establish the work required, and ensure that the subsequent work carried out is carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for vehicle road testing and ensuring vehicle parts are stored and handled correctly.- Preparing used vehicles to high standards.
- Carrying out standard servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
- Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
- Maintaining equipment and tools.
- Following the correct procedures and completing documentation

- Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential
- Full UK Licence - No more than 6 pts
