Electrical Engineer
Location: Tamworth
£35,000 - £45,000 plus company van, fuel card, phone, laptop, retail discounts, private pension, share scheme and 23 days holiday excluding statutory days
I am currently working with a wastewater treatment specialist who are continually investing in their manufacturing technology and can offer advice on effluent plant treatment design, plant servicing and optimization as well as operative training.
Due to internal promotion, they are currently looking for an additional Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Carry out fault finding diagnostics and offering technical advice and assistance
- Machine/plant testing and commissioning for the UK regions, both at HQ and on-site
- Engineering of industrial control panels and the field wiring of equipment. This includes new builds, machine retrofit improvements and the repair out outdated machinery
- Siemens S7-1200 PLC programming and fault finding
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Full UK driving licence
- Hold 18th edition and C&G 2391
- PLC – faut finding and commissioning experience is essential
- Able to panel wire and build panels
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be flexible with travelling
