Senior Radio Engineer
Design, installation and maintenance of radio systems
Leyland based, but covering the North west
From £60,000 basic
Company Van, expenses covered, 25 days holiday exc bank holidays
My client is a well experienced radio system expert baes in Leyland. Due to growth they are on the hunt for a vast experienced Senior Radio Engineer. They predominantly work on public transport, security and defence and working with blue-chip companies all across the UK.
The Role:
The role will require an experienced radio engineer who has strong experience in radio coverage and radio system design. You will be expected to lead a team of radio engineers through designing radio systems then proceeding to installation, and maintenance. This will also entail troubleshooting and maintenance of DMR systems and capable of RF planning and fault diagnostics. You will be expected to be confident in all fields of design/planning/maintenance as this role will be a 3 way split. This role will includes covering all of the UK working on a call out rota basis once in 6 weeks in which you’ll be covered with a rota allowance.
Skills/Experience required:
- Experience with Tait, DMR, Motorola digital systems and Tier 3 systems
- Experience and examples of prior radio system design work
- Understanding of RF design and propagation
- Ability to lead a team and work unsupported when required
- Full UK driving licence
In return:
In return my client are willing to pay a strong basic from £60,000 dependant on experience with a call out rota allowance provided. This comes with a company van provided, all expenses covered and 25 days holiday.
