This role will include some office work, but with travel due to the nature of the role. The role is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now actively looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who is driven and is looking for progression.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes managing new and existing accounts, new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
- 2-3 years+ in a Business Development type role in packaging
- Have a great understanding of the UK market
- You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes.
- A sense of business relationships and customer service
- High interest in the technical dimension of the products
- Experience of dealing with buyers and stakeholders
- Must be used to winning new business and managing key accounts
