Internal Technical Sales

My client is a UK leading provider of Hydraulic Systems, power units and a distributor of components. With a proven track record of using quality brands and providing outstanding engineering services they are looking to now add to their Technical Support Team. Due to growth, they are looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to join their already experienced team. You will have a strong hydraulic and systems engineering knowledge with the ability to provide exceptional customer support.

Internal Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Wakefield

£26,000 - £40,000 (DOE), Monday – Friday only, 4% pension, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Collecting information from clients new and potential.
• Provide a first class service to all clients, internally and externally.
• Quote customers based on their needs.
• Converting quotes to orders and following through the sale.
• Ensure after sale care is provided.
• Increase sales generation where possible.
• Placing orders correctly.
• Work closely with various different departments in a professional manner.
• Complete all paper work, CRM systems and other specific work correctly.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Education within an engineering/mechanical field.
• Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Driven and committed to learn.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Strong technical understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics or a similar industry.
• Proven track record of sales with transferable skills.
• Fantastic attitude to be a success with a good eye for detail.
