My client in the Fish & Poultry sector are looking for a Divisional Sales Manager who can look after the Fish side of the business. This sounds odd at first glance but what this company does is provide capital equipment into the food processing industry. They have multiple sides of the business covering Fish, Meat and Frozen goods. This role will be covering all sales dome into the Fish processing industry, and you will cover all sales and maintain existing clients.
The Managing Director is looking to take someone under his wing and teach and train them on this niche sector so is looking for someone who has experience selling Capital Equipment. This role will include a lot of travel around the UK and even Europe when required so someone who is able to do this travel is essential.
Experience looking for:
- Capital Equipment Sales (4 Years)
- Experience travelling to clients
- Dealt with large projects
Responsibilities:
- Learning the capabilities of the machines and the product that goes through them
- Travelling UK and Europe winning and Maintaining Business
- Reporting back to the Managing Director
- Achieving Sales targets and KPI’s set by Directors
This role is for someone who is ready to give a different industry a try and have a learning mentality towards it. This role will take some time to get used and you are not expected to make a sale in your year as most of it will be for training and developing your knowledge on the product.
