£35,000 - £45,000 plus share scheme, general discount offerings, private pension and 23 days holiday excluding statutory days
I am working with a specialist Industrial and Commercial Water Treatment company, that have been established for over 20 years. They help manufacturers, commercial business, public organisations, FM and Maintenance companies look for better ways to perform strategic, non-core processes managing water, water & ait hygiene and ACoP L8 compliance.
Due to internal promotion, they are looking an experienced Proposals Engineer to join their growing and very successful team.
The role:
Support sales in the preparation of timely, accurate and commercially astute quotations/proposals. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure costs are accurately stated on other systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare pre-qualification documentation
- Make sure all relevant information is provided prior to commencement of the tender process
- Provide detailed costs estimates for tender submissions; liaise with suppliers in requesting quotations
- Use and update of estimating systems to prepare cost estimate sheets
- Prepare and produce tender and full proposal documentation on qualified bids ensuring bid compliance
- Produce sales quality drawings and bid support material
- Liaise with product suppliers for technical information and competitive pricing
To apply you must have or hold:
- Ideally based within 20 miles of Waterlooville, although not essential as my clients have a number of offices across the UK
- Estimating experience
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Degree educated ideally science based
- Experience of quotes/proposals is a must
- If you have any experience with Wastewater then this would be a distinct advantage
- Computer literate
