My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing pneumatic products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. They are now actively looking for an experienced Stores Operative to join their busy stores team. Having in house design engineers enables them to manufacture bespoke products whilst working closely with customer to provide a first - class service. Due to the manufacturing process this is a fast-paced Stores Operative role working with various departments on a daily basis.
Stores and Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start
Accrington
£9.50 - £10.50 per hour (DOE)8am – 4.45pm (Mon – Thurs) 8am-12pm (Friday) with the option of over time – being paid at time and a half.
Key Responsibilities of the role but NOT limited too.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Carrying out regular stock checks.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely picking of production orders.
- Ensuring all stock is stored and labelled correctly.
- Pick and pack sales order and pass on to goods out department.
- Ensure all processes are followed.
- Complete relevant quality checks.
- Liaise with couriers / transport so that all incoming shipments have correct documentation.
- Using MRP system to ensure all transactions for goods are kept up to date and accurate.
- Work in a safe manner complying with HSE requirements.
Skills
- Positive – can do attitude.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are essential
- Team Player.
- Motivated to improve professionally.
- Physically able to meet the jobs demands.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Can work effectively alone and in a team
- Experience of working with MRP or ERP databases is preferred.
