Position - Plumber (Domestic)
Salary/Package - 22,000k - 26,000k dependent on experience, Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Basic Tools, Pension, 24 days holiday excluding Banks, & more..
Location / Working Hours - Preston to work the North West region. Hours - 7:30am - 4:00pm, half hour for lunch (with flexibility) Overtime Paid - Double Time all the time!!

My client specialise in all types of Health Sector projects, ranging from full ward refurbishments, change of use, general facilities and building maintenance.
Purpose Of The Role
To provide a high quality and cost-effective Heating system maintenance and repair service to a range of customers. Main duties will be on the emphasis of servicing, repairing and installing gas, oil and solid fuel heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties within the Companies area of operation.
Initially recruiting a Domestic Plumber, but would be very interested if you've had Commercial experience.
This role WILL require travel throughout the North West and up to Cumbria. VERY rarely travel may take you to Solihull & North Wales.
The duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Carry out General plumbing repairs, other maintenance, repairs and remedial work as directed.
- TMV Servicing & Replacement / PPM work
- Carry out installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment
- Complete works in accordance with Company specifications and in compliance with the relevant legislation, relevant trade body and industry standards and best practice.
- Participate in an emergency ‘out of hour's' service as required, including carrying out other multi skilled trades work where necessary.
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
- Work to operational and Health and Safety procedures, safe working practices and approved codes of practice as appropriate.
- Be responsible for completing dynamic risk assessments when arriving at site, checking that the safety of themselves and/or others will not be compromised by completing the task.
- To comprehensively complete required paperwork or electronic equivalent as appropriate
You must have or Hold:
- Full UK Driving Licence - No more than 6 pts
- C & G Plumbing qualification or equivalent - NVQ Level 2 or above
We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
