Position: Commercial Electrical Testing Engineer

Location: Covering Yorkshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £36,000 to £38,000 plus travel time and package

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to help support an electrical team for a very well-established building services company

This engineer will be going to sites through-out Yorkshire, testing electrical plant and either replacing them if faulty or signing off if acceptable. They will be attending commercial sites that will include offices, shopping centres, industrial parks etc.

The company does plan to make this position a QS role once the team has expanded further

The right person for this position will have a strong commercial testing background. They must have 2391 Test and Inspect and be level 3 qualified. It would be an advantage if they have had or have the LVAP qualification, however this course will be provided for the right person.

This is a regional position, so we will require this engineer to travel throughout Yorkshire, so we do require a full UK driving licence

Requirements

• Strong working background as a commercial electrician
• Must have experience in testing equipment
• Able to deal with flaw reports when needed
• Must hold 2391 Test and Inspect and be level 3 qualified
• Holding or having held LVAP would be a massive advantage
• Full UK driving Licence
• Based in the West or East Yorkshire area
