- Description
My client is an established manufacturer of bespoke electro – hydraulic products. Due to their 40 years within the fluid power sector, they are able to provide first class products based on clients’ niche needs. Due to continued growth they are now looking for experienced Hydraulic Design Engineers to join their team. Designing 2d & 3d drawings of power packs, hydraulic cylinders and control manifolds and components using AutoCAD and Inventor drawing systems. Due to the nature of this role this is an interesting varied position that will suit a technically minded individual.

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000
25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, pension, healthcare scheme and paid sick leave.
Mon – Fri – 37.5 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide technical support to other areas of the company (Operations, sales and quality) as well as the customers.
- Establish the needs and requirements of the client.
- Produce complete and correct information for products.
- Completing projects to a high standard.
- Participate in business strategies to improve the department performance.
- Produce completed projects to the client.
- Working with various departments to complete projects.
- Produce Drawings using the designated system (AutoCAD)
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- 3D CAD experience. AutoCAD and Inventor 3D experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience and knowledge of hydraulics and engineering is advantageous.
- Mechanically minded with attention to details.
- Must be able to complete calculations.
- Degree in Engineering or Good levels of experience within engineering/mechanical.
- Good mechanical engineering experience in including material knowledge.
- Experience of machining processes is a benefit.
- A good understanding of the principles of Design for Manufacturing.
- Good eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- Good Personal Skills – Able to work in a team and alone.
