Service Engineer
UK & Ireland
£37,000 - £55,000 + Company car + 25 days holiday + Bank holidays + Pension.
My client is an industry leading organisation supplying CNC machinery for complex component manufacturers supplying to the Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Defence and Construction markets.
They are renowned for providing exceptional levels of service and support by combining their in-house expertise and technical knowledge gathered by over 35 years of industry experience.
They are looking for a multi-skilled machine tool service engineer to join their growing and dynamic service engineering team. In return they invest heavily in your professional development as a service engineer through enrolling you in an exceptional training programme in the facilities in Austria.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Delivering a high level of service to their clients within the UK and Ireland.
- Completing maintenance, repairs and providing breakdown cover.
- Attending training with their partners in Austria.
- You will build and fix spindles, slideways and ball screws .
- You will work on the commissioning and installation of the machines.
The Requirements:
- Multi-skilled engineer with experience with experience fault finding and repairing CNC Machine tools.
- Apprentice trained to a minimum of level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Full clean driver’s license
- The right to work in the UK.
- A valid passport for the international training.
- Ideally conversant with Siemens 840D controls.
- An ability to fix spindles, slideways and ball screws.
