My client is a well-recognised supplier of packaging machines for the last 40 years who focus on innovation and development of their packaging equipment. The machinery that they sell includes shrink wrapping, flow wrapping and pouch wrapping packaging automation machines and they are seeking a Sales Engineering to win new business around the UK.

£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Commission (£10,000 +), 22 days holiday plus bank, which increases on service, pool car as and when required and a clear path for progression.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- You will have a proven experience in developing and winning new business in the UK.
- You will be driven to succeed and will also have the ability to work with a highly effective sales support team in order to maximise the service of the company.
- Be able to deal with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation.
- You will be able to manage your time and diary effectively to achieve set KPI’s.
- You will be working with internal stakeholders on an international scale to ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
- Promote the company and its business.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office Software.
- Sound experience in a sales environment is key and ideally from the following industries: Packaging, Industrial, Capital Equipment, Manufacturing, Hydraulics, Construction etc…
- Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication skills both written and verbally.
- Experience of closing and negotiation techniques.
- Adaptable and flexible on managing workload.
