My client is a market leader, known around the world. With over 120 years’ worth of experience, they have strived to find new ways to harness and preserve energy. There company revenue exceeds $40 billion and due to continuous growth, they are now looking to add a Hydraulic Engineer to their experienced Engineering team. Working closely within the workshop team, you will complete workshop and electrical technician duties to a high standard. As a Hydraulic Engineer you will be working closely with HPUs, WHCPs, TUTUs and CI packages.
Hydraulic Engineer
Location: Norfolk (NR31)
up to £34,000 (DOE) salary with engineers taking home £50,000 - £60,000, Employee Assistance Program, medical, 7% pension, 3 x salary life insurance, holiday purchase and much more.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Complete pressure testing of tube work varying in size.
- Inspection and repair including modifications of equipment for use in the workshop.
- Completing tests and calibration of instruments including pressure valves, pressure transmitters, pressure switches and pressure gauges.
- Flushing Hydraulic systems to meet required compliance.
- Identification and installations of hydraulic components.
- Follow schematic drawings to complete required work.
- Undertake various tests including – flushing, pressure testing, leak testing and FAT
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Experience of working with medium and high-pressure systems including Autoclave and Butech type connections.
- Experience of working with HPUs, Well Head Control Panels, Top Side Termination Units and Chemical Injection packages.
- Experience of working within manufacturing and assembly of pipe work systems including cutting.
- Experience in the use of general fitting and fabrication hand tools including workshop machinery including pillar drills, band saw and grinders.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering.
- TIG welding experience is an advantage
- Able to travel for on site installations and commissioning within the oil & gas industry.
