Description

My client is a well-established Mobile Elevating Work Platform manufacturer and one of the largest in Europe which supplies over 40 countries worldwide supporting over 400 staff within the UK. They use state of the art software with vigorous testing to ensure that the best products are produced. Due to continued growth and work load they are looking for Quality Assurance & Control Technician to join their team supplying quality control support to manufacturing.

Title – Quality Assurance & Control Technician
Location – Milton Keynes

Package - £31,800 Starting salary (£14.08 per hour X 40 hours plus a guaranteed weekly bonus of a minimum of £50)
Over time paid at - £21.12 per hour (1.5) or £28.16 per hour (2.0)

Monthly bonus based on performance, on average £375 - £450 per month.

25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, annual bonus, staff discounts, discounted gym memberships, company lunches, family events, health scheme , pension contribution & life insurance.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Support quality issues.
  • Raise QN / QR quality concerns.
  • Providing quality control to manufacturing areas.
  • Conduct inspections to control, monitor and develop quality control documentation.
  • Facilitate RCA.
  • Support stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage reduction of line quality related KPIs.
  • Control supplier returns.
  • Customer feedback checks.
  • Stock checks for quality related issues.
  • Maintain iAuditor in process inspection structure.
  • Stock accuracy of quality locations.

To apply you MUST have or hold:


  • Experience within engineering / manufacturing – Mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and structured welding.
  • Able to work within a team and alone to high standards.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems – ISO9001 :2008/2015
  • Ability to use measuring equipment.
  • Accredited Inspector Qualification.
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft office.
  • Can read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Good organisation skills.
