Service and Repair Technician
Manchester, M2
£27,500 - £32,500 Basic annual salary
28 days holidays plus 1 day after year 3 & 5 with birthday off, company pension matched up to 3%

My client is an audio-visual rental service who are now looking for an experienced support individual with technical knowledge of the industry to join the team. They specialise in a wide range of small to large exiting projects across the UK including projects such as Hilton, The Fragrance Shop, SEAT, Pure gym and many more. Due to planned growth, they require a Service and repair technician to join their dynamic team.
The role:
This role will include service and repair of audio, video and lighting equipment. This will require repairing single phase and three phase power cable. Repair of multipin, DMX, microphone and speaker cables.
You will be required to manage your workshop space, ensuring all areas are always kept well organised and tidy.
Experience and skills required:
- Experience with the repair of moving lights (desired but not essential)
- PAT testing experience.
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to problem solve and work to deadlines
In return:
In return my client is paying a good basic ranging from £27,500 to £32,500 depending on knowledge and experience. This fantastic package includes free on-site parking, holidays, fantastic health care package and pension.
