Workshop/Installation Engineer

Location: Crewe

£25,000 - £32,000 plus healthcare, pension and 28 days holiday inclusive of statutory days

I am working with a specialist distributor of chemical dosing pumps and process control engineering systems, they also offer installations and commissioning services. They have over 20 years experience building and designing chemical systems and are able to build professional dosing systems to a set specification or they can design bespoke systems.

Due to growth, they are looking for a Workshop/Installation Engineer to join their team.

The role:

Primarily workshop based but it will include travelling to customer sites throughout the UK to service and install equipment such as chemical dosing pumps and water treatment systems. Also manufacturing and maintaining equipment in the workshop.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Servicing of pumps and equipment
• On site installations
• General workshop and store duties
• Repair and test of pumps and controllers
• Building systems, such as dosing skids, polymer systems, controller backboards, tank sets and pumping enclosures

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Full UK driving licence
• Basic mechanical experience
• General electrical knowledge
• On site experience would be beneficial
• Any site safety training cards and/or mechanical/electrical qualification would be a distinct advantage
• Ideally have some knowledge of chemical, water, submersible, transfer, centrifugal, peristaltic or HVAC pumps
