Electrical Engineer
Farnborough
£30,000 - £35,000 Basic
Factory based, 38 hours per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Matched Pension scheme up to 11%, Bupa Healthcare and Death in Service
We are currently looking for an experienced Hire Fleet Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are a manufacturing specialist company that has been designing, manufacturing and supporting inspection equipment used to identify contaminants and product defects within the food, packaging and pharmaceutical industries, principally offering Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray Inspection systems. Due to planned growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Hire Fleet Engineer to join our technical team.
The role:
- Inspect, repair, test and always maintain the machines within our hire fleet to a high standard ready for despatch in a timely fashion.
- Critical in providing the best service to all our customers and maximising efficiency.
- Develop and maintain very effective relationships with customers and internal staff.
- Develop your technical skills on the product range.
Skill and experience required:
- Electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with digital voltage meters, electrical drawings and wiring into panels.
- Appropriate qualification and discipline in electromechanical/electronic engineering.
- Good PC literacy.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to take responsibility and deliver on results agreed.
- Will to take a hands-on approach.
- Good methodical approach to problem solving.
- Full current UK driving license.
