Senior Production Engineer
Location: Norfolk
£28,000 - £30,000 plus company truck, fuel card, pension, healthcare, phone and 22 days holiday excluding statutory days
We are a well established environmental water management company. We provide systems and technologies used in the treatment of water and wastewater.
Due to growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Liaise with both the MD and Engineering Manager to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Estimate costs, prepare budgets and produce project programmes, tracking all with PM software
- Assist with budgets, bids and contracts
- Direct, review and approve product development and changes
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Supervise, train and evaluate performance of production staff
- Approve fabrication shop and equipment maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Review and recommend supplier contracts and approve supplier costs
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Experience as a Production Engineer in steel fabrication/welding
- Management experience is essential for this role
- Any knowledge of 2D or 3D CAD would be an advantage
- Welding experience/qualification would be desirable
- Commercially aware
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based within a commutable distance of Kings Lynn
- Excellent attention to detail
