Business Development Manager
North West
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE Basic
Commission, Car Allowance, 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Health Scheme, Pension and much more.
I am currently looking for an experienced business development manager to join our dynamic team. We are a leading Distributor to the CCTV industry in the UK. We supply the latest innovative CCTV equipment at very competitive pricing including Digital Recording Systems, IP Cameras and CCTV monitoring equipment along with many products from other leading.
The role:
- To develop new opportunities with existing key customers and target new account relationships to generate growth in the market to an agreed annual sales targets
- Identify and build a prospect bank of opportunities with key customers
- Identify where specific opportunities are and work towards converting them into new revenue. Establish communications with those that can benefit from Dynamic’s product range
- Develop and implement strategies for new projects, products and services with customers
- Qualify, maintain and log all projects for the customer base
- Effectively manage the relationship with existing customers
- Accurately update our CRM system with customer details
- Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with colleagues
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process; identifying opportunities, on-boarding customers, negotiating and closing pitches and liaising with vendors
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services
- Increase knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to enhance market position
- Ability to manage own diary and time effectively
- Attend trade shows and events as required
- Any other duties as necessary in the role
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous demonstrable experience in business development and key account management role
- Sales knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder & Fire
- Professional, business focused and results driven
- Strong individual with positive outlook
- PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages
- Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close deals’
- Problem solver who can generate ideas and solutions
- Determined approach
- Industry based experience
- Full UK driving license
