Location: West Bromwich

£35,000 - £45,000 plus private pension, employee assistance program and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

We are a leading wastewater treatment company who are well known for our excellent reputation and exceptional customer service.

Based in the Midlands we have been established for a number of years and are a medium sized company with plans for growth.

Due to continued success, we are looking for an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing and professional team.

Purpose of the role:

Perform engineering work to support sales orders, product improvement projects, technical support and/or engineering analysis.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Create site layouts and equipment general assembly’s
• Provide design calculations and documentation support for project work
• Preparing and updating layouts, detailed drawings, calculations, specifications and documenting instructions necessary for project success
• Produce CAD drawings for equipment, civil work layouts and mechanical design details to specific requirements
• Maintain, update and progress the standard drawings and data for a particular product for which they are the nominated “Product Engineer”
• Review of detail drawings and bills of materials during and prior to being issued for manufacture

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Water industry experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential
• Mechanical bias (engineering/design)
• Full UK driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of West Bromwich
• Right 1^st time principles
