Shift Pattern - Days & Nights - 2 on, 3 off, 2 on 2 off, 3 on.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operations within the factory and will manager output, quality, cost, delivery, safety general production and human resources. You will work alongside shift managers in the print & finishing area to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained
- Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction
- Deal with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for shift production
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are monitored, and targets achieved.
- Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning
- Production planning is key, and you will need to resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications
- Manage Manpower resources effectively to support customer delivery requirements
- Drive company Absence Control Procedures
- React positively to rapid changes in priorities and short lead time orders.
- Provide leadership to those around you and be prepared to go above and beyond to ensure that processes within the factory are going smoothly.
Essential:
- Lead by example, setting objectives and defining responsibilities
- Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving
- Be able to train others and give them direction
- Push lean methodologies within the site
- Full understanding of customer expectations and deliverables
- Good problem solving and communication skills.
