The company has been running for 50+ years as a manufacturer and are now seeking a Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.

£45,000 to £55,000 DOE

Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with opportunities for growth, 20% bonus, with a car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank, Life Insurance 3x salary, 5% Pension, laptop and phone.
Responsibilities
This role will include frequent travel to customers due to the nature of the role as well as the management of around £50,000 - £100,000 worth of accounts. The role itself is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now actively looking to recruit a business development manager who is driven and has experience of managing a heavy workload.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around developing long terms relationships with clients, account management, business development and ensuring all KPI’s are met. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
- A minimum of 3-6 years+ experience in managing a team.
- Ideally you will come from the following packaging background: Timber, Corrugated or Pallet industry would be ideal.
- Have a great understanding of the UK market.
- You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes.
- A sense of business relationships and customer service.
- High interest in the technical dimension of the products.
- You must come from a packaging background and have experience in sales.
