General Manager

My client is looking for an experienced General Manager with experience within a hydraulic engineering industry, due to recent growth into the Hull area you will play a crucial role in leading the company operations on a day-to-day basis. As the General Manager you will have strong leadership skills, technical understanding, and a vision to hit growth targets whilst supporting and overseeing 25 staff members.

General Manager

£65,000 - £75,000 (Depending on Experience)

22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Profit Share Scheme, Annual Bonus based on company performance and more.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Strategic planning and business development.
• Identify new market opportunities.
• Analyse industry trends.
• Create new partnerships, negotiate contracts, and build the businesses reputation.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing key clients.
• Oversea day to day operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate company performance.
• Prepare and manage company’s budgets, monitoring financial performances & conducting financial analysis.
• Lead and motivate the team.

• Experience working within a fast-paced small business environment.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering industry.
• Strong Hydraulic knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices and technologies.
• Strong leadership skills.
