Showroom Manager - Winchester
Reports To:
The Showroom Manager will report to Head of Portfolio Retail.
Job Overview:
My Client is a family owned lighting and homewares retailer of over 30 years standing with five stores and an online website. Our aim is to offer a wide range of quality designer lighting and homewares sourced from around the world and here in the UK. We have become leaders in the design industry by consistently sourcing and supplying a wide range of lighting, bathroom fittings and fixtures, furniture and products for every aspect of your home.
Responsibilities and Duties:
What you will be doing:
- The day to day running of the showroom
- Showcasing the best of our products
- Looking after the rota, staff, products and delighting our customers
- Manage, met and exceed the showroom and team sales targets by maximising sales and leads
- Dealing with inbound enquiries via footfall or through inbound telephone enquiries
- Manage our database and systems for the showroom
- Leading our social media for the showroom
- Provide support and training to colleagues
- Lead by example in providing first class customer service and sales advice
- Ensure that communication is excellent within the showroom and other functions across my client such as logistics and customer care.
What you need to have:
- Management experience in high end/luxury retail is essential, and preferably in the lighting or furniture sector.
- Knowledge of the lighting and furniture suppliers and trends
- Proven ability to deliver targets on sales as an individual/showroom and team
- Excellent management skills to lead, train and retain a motivated team
- Always looking for opportunities to continuously improve sales, customer experience and operational processes and procedures.
- Keen to develop networking relationships with key individuals/companies
- Ability to create showroom events to promote the brand
- Must enjoy problem solving
- To love the world of design and architecture.
Details of the role:
- Full time
- 5 days a week on a rota basis, to include weekends.
- Pay depending on experience
- Lighting and Furniture sale experience is essential, as is, proven retail manager experience.
