Finance Assistant £30k - £35k

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an outstanding High Wycombe Audio Visual company.

Reporting into a longstanding experienced Finance manager you will be part of a small but effective team which sits within modern offices set in an easily accessible location.
Responsibilities will be –
- Providing support to both the Purchase ledger and Sales ledger teams
- Regular Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Preparation of weekly payment runs.
- Monitoring of the Fixed Asset Register
- Preparation of Quarterly end VAT submissions
- Job costing posting and reconciliations.
- Support management with ad hoc nominal ledger analysis
- Invoice processing
- Preparation of weekly payment runs.
- Plus, any other reasonable ad hoc requirement to support the finance team.
- Multi-currency experience would be beneficial.
Candidate Specification –
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a busy finance department
- Meticulous and proven organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail and methodical approach
- Able to prioritise workloads.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with Sage 200
- Strong Excel skills to VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables
