My client is a manufacturer of sustainable packaging in the carton packaging sector with year upon year growth working with businesses local and high-end. They are a family run and well recognised for their specialism within the industry, employing around 30+ staff across 1 site. My client is looking for 1 cut & crease operator to join a brilliant team of operators.
Bobst Machine Operator
£11-16 per hour (DOE) plus overtime when required
Welwyn Garden City
6-2/2/10 shift pattern.Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with 25 days holiday plus bank, 4% pension, great training and an opportunity to grow within the business.
The Bobst Operator will be joining a team that has considerable longevity and would suit someone who is looking to grow within the industry or finish out their career in this family run business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Running Bobst Machine
- Responsible for productivity and quality when running the machine
- Setting Feeder Heads
- General mechanical maintenance
- Setting feeder wheels/front/side lays and two sheet trip
- Locking up die and cutting plate
- Setting of joggers
- Use of brake brush
- Running die cutters
- Setting counts for sheets per pallet
Experience required
- Experience in corrugated, Cartons or flat board packaging
- Experience with Bobst (Cut&Crease) Experience from other industries will be considered
- Must be mechanically strong.
