The Company
My client is a Material handling & elevation OEM based in south Wales. The company provide bespoke conveyor systems that carry materials and products from point A to B, supplying systems to the likes of Mars, Unilever & JD sports plus much more
The Role
- Managing a team of service engineers, 4 in total
- Scheduling of engineers diary's
- P&L
- Oversee operation of field service work with ongoing clients & issues
- Speaking with customers regarding SLA’s
- Managing service department to deliver RAMS on time
- Visiting customers onsite UK wide
- Dealing with all aspects of health & safety
- Full training provided
- Responsible for engaging engineers for optimal performance
- Develop process to ensure maximum output & efficiency
- Working with other departments to ensure smooth shipment of parts
- Conducting site surveys
- Working with clients on orders & quoting for service repair jobs
The requirements
- Previous Service manager experience or lead engineer that has had expose to service management
- To have worked in a manufacturing industry related to service
- To be a qualified engineer (preferable)
- Proactive person who leads by example
- Strong communication skills
