Role: Production Coordinator (Lighting)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Location: East Lancashire
Reporting to: Group HR Manager
Job Role
The post holder or candidate must be adaptable, conscientious, hardworking and motivated. Candidate must be confident, keen to learn with strong attention to detail as well as having excellent inter-personal skills. Must possess a can-do attitude and willingness to take on all tasks and looking to develop their career with an expanding company. The post holder or candidate will report to the Group HR Manager and will collaborate with sales and manufacturing to ensure deadlines are met. The post holder or candidate must be pro-active and passionate about their work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements
- Responsible for the production and procurement or components
- Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met
- Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
- Ensures the manufacturing team has enough time to manufacture and deliver products based on the client's request
- Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines
- Communicates any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties
- Monitors manufacturing standards
- Makes sure the working environment maintains access to quality equipment
- Purchases materials and services required for manufacturing
- Analyse process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
- Identifying opportunities to streamline or improve all business operational processes
- Work in close liaison with all other departments to ensure the most efficient results for each project
- Ensure components are procured in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Manage the manufacturing process
- Complete site visits and identify suitable LED replacement units when required
- Calculate Return Of Investments on projects
Experience.
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Significant LED lighting knowledge
- Full Driving licence
