Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
£50,000 - £60,000 plus company car, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, private healthcare, private pension, company days out and 24 days holiday excluding statutory days
We are a full turnkey solution providing design, installation and fabrication to Water Utility companies and Construction companies across the UK.
Due to planned growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the ever growing team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Designing pumping stations, steelwork, structures, piping. to fabrication detail
- Calculations: Pump, Steelwork calcs. Etc.
- Conduct site visits when needed
- Liaise with installers and clients
- Manage a team
- Help develop the business and junior engineers
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Degree, HNC, HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
- Water industry experience is preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Manchester
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
