Position: Sales Ledger Assistant
Location: Cambridgeshire
Duration: Permanent
Salary: From £30,000 to £32,000
It’s with the greatest pleasure that SER Recruitment are supporting a Cambridgeshire based company in finding their next Sales Ledger Assistant. The lucky candidate will be providing a high level of sales ledger assistance to the credit control department. The right candidate for this position will have a strong history within a Sales Ledger Environment. They will have ownership of the Sales Ledger and will be reporting directly into a supportive Finance Manager.
The role will involve:
- Creating invoices and credit notes.
- Reporting on sales invoicing totals.
- Allocating cash to debtor accounts.
- Carrying out credit checks.
- Providing statements for the managers.
- Create new accounts.
- Balance and Month end reports
- Administration
Requirements
- Strong background in Sales Ledger
- Experience in dealing with sales ledger for a multimillion-pound company.
- Must be based in a commutable distance to Slough.
- An accounts qualification would be a bonus but not essential.
- Some credit control experience is required.
