My client is an established, well-known company withing the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. With over 35 years trading history they specialise in supplying hydraulic and pneumatic products, systems and services to a wide range of industries. Due to growth, they are now looking to add a driven mechanically minded apprentice to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to join a committed and hard-working team whilst being taught new skills, to increase their engineering knowledge. Trainee Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer
Head Office: Hemel Hempstead
Area – This is covering a large area – Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire area.
£18,000 - £22,000 – Van, bonus structure, on call, mobile, tablet, pension and extensive training.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Maintain relationships with existing client’s needs.
- Assist in building the company’s reputation within the hydraulic field.
- Ensure all HSE guidelines are followed.
- Provide professional onsite hydraulic hose replacement services to a high standard.
- Work closely with other mobile engineers to assist with issues on various sites.
- Manage vehicle to maintain stock levels
- Ensure equipment used is maintained and make changes when required.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Mechanically minded engineer.
- Hydraulic knowledge is beneficial.
- Previous experience of working within a mechanical (or similar) engineering environment.
- A drive to learn and develop as an engineer.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
This is a huge opportunity for an engineer with mechanical mind set to further their knowledge within hydraulics and develop within a large sector. Training will be provided continuously.
