Learning & Development Coach – Asset Management
Location: South East
£40,000 - £50,000 plus company car, fuel card, phone, laptop, tablet, life assurance, pension, cycle to work scheme and 25 days excluding bank holidays
I am currently working with a very established and successful training provider to the Water Utilities sector. Having been established for over 10 years providing qualifications into large utility companies they are now looking for a Learning & Development Coach to join their team.
Purpose of the role:
As a Learning & Development Coach for Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in preparing aspiring asset manager practitioners for a dynamic and rewarding career. The apprenticeship program equips individuals to work in industries managing physical assets such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, mining, petrochemical, buildings and transport.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with the employer and the learner to agree and create a Training Plan, setting clear milestones and targets
- To plan co-ordinate, assess and review the learning activities with learners in the workplace
- Deliver classroom based training and remote training to groups of up to 12 learners at any one time
- Conduct training and assessment covering skills and competencies as appropriate on and off site as required
- Monitor the learners’ progress over the duration of the programme, ensuring formal reviews between the learner and employer, in line with the individual learning plan are undertaken as a minimum every 12 weeks
- Comply with safeguarding procedures
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Good knowledge and experience with Asset Management
- Ideally based in the South of England
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS
- A willingness to work towards and achieve professional qualifications
