My client is offering a salary reflecting experience with a 20 days holiday + bank, rising year on year, 3% pension and an opportunity to learn CAD design.

My client specialist in the corrugated and multi material packaging industry and are a company that focus on innovation. They have a world class production facility and provide a fantastic environment to work in. They are now seeking an Estimator who is hungry and determined to succeed with a fast-growing business.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the production and technical teams by completing Quotations as required by the customer.
• Liaise between with office administrators and production team to ensure accuracy of quotes
• Work closely with colleagues within the department to ensure customers Quote enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
• Work on small to medium scale projects.
• Implement best practice to maximise efficiency and improve the customer experience.
• Stocking costs to be calculated if required as well as the transport costs involved.
• Liaising with external suppliers to outsource and request prices of additional elements.
• Internal discussion to organise samples and potential artwork requests.

Essential:

• Previous estimation/purchasing/administration / experience is essential.
• Experience with customer quotations / sales orders is highly regarded.
• An understanding of packaging is preferred but not essential other areas will be considered.
• A high level of IT literacy, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Note - A print & packaging background is desirable, but not essential.
