Learning & Development Coach
Level 3 & Level 5 Operations Management Apprenticeships
Location: National
£38,000 - £40,000 plus company car, fuel card, phone, laptop, tablet, life assurance, pension, cycle to work scheme and 25 days excluding bank holidays
I am currently working with a very established and successful training provider to the Water Utilities sector. Having been established for over 10 years providing qualifications into large utility companies they are now looking for a Learning & Development Coach to join their team.
Purpose of the role:
As a Learning & Development Coach for Level 3 & Level 5 Operations Management Apprenticeships, you will play a crucial role in preparing aspiring management practitioners for a dynamic and rewarding career.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with the employer and the learner to agree and create a Training Plan, setting clear milestones and targets
- Collaborate with curriculum development teams to create engaging and relevant learning materials, including instructional guides, presentations and assessment tools
- Plan, co-ordinate, assess and review the learning activities of learners in the workplace
- Deliver classroom based training and remote training to groups of up to 12 learners
- Track and record the vocational progress over the duration of the programme on a regular basis/as required reporting and taking action in respect of any concerns (including off the job training)
- Conduct training and assessment covering skills and competencies as appropriate on and off site as required and provide a wide range of training solutions based on employer needs
- Provide feedback on learners’ work and assignments, including marking assignments and providing guidance and support to learners
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Recognised Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management or significant sector experience
- Coaching and mentoring experience
- If you hold PTTLS or equivalent and CAVA, TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent then this would be a distinct advantage
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS
- Ideally based in the Midlands a
- Proven experience in management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
- Fully competent with MS office
