My client is an established, well-known company withing the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. With over 30 years trading history they specialise in supplying hydraulic and pneumatic products, systems and services to a wide range of industries. They are looking to add a driven Business Development Manager to their successful team of driven, professional Sales Executives. Business Development Manager
Head Office: Hemel Hempstead – Covering the UK but ideally located within a commutable distance to Head Office.
£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) – Commission, company bonus, Car Allowance and company pension.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Seek new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to assist in developing accounts and leads.
- Secure long-standing relationships with new and existing clients.
- Communicate all activity to the relevant people/systems on a regular basis.
- Offer technical support to customers and colleagues.
- Work along side the internal Sales Team.
- Work with the internal teams to ensure all opportunities are investigated.
- Develop and maintain existing accounts.
- Get an understanding of the company’s products and develop your knowledge to assist in promoting them.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Strong sales, presentation, negotiation skills and being able to overcome customer objections.
- Sales experience within the Hydraulic Industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan your work load effectively.
- Sales experience with engineering products.
- Be able to show a strong sales background, with a proven track record.
- Be able to show knowledge and experience of selling at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management experience is an advantage.
- Have knowledge of fluid power products. (Desirable -Parker Hannifin)
- Have previous experience of industrial hose and/or hydraulics (desirable).
- Full and clean driving licence.
