Service & Maintenance Engineer
Location: Midlands
£30,000 - £35,000 plus mileage allowance, private pension, phone, laptop and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days
We are specialist providers in air and odour pollution control. We deliver cost-effective solutions for some of the world’s leading brands in the Water, Waste & Recycling, Food & Beverage and Process industries.
Due to growth we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team of professionals.
Purpose of the role:
To carry out the inspection, service, maintenance and repair of odour control equipment on various sites. Also to install and commission new equipment.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working on a range of Odour Control Equipment on Sewage Treatment Works and Sewage Pumping Stations
- Inspect, faut diagnose, test, maintain, install, modify or repair mechanical equipment
- Maintain Plant and Equipment to the required standard
- Make sure all operational assets are accurately registered and have the correct strategic maintenance programme aligned to them
- Compile Site Diaries and issue to Line Manager on a weekly basis
- Produce Service & Maintenance repots after each visit
- Identify opportunities for additional works
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Ideally based in the Midlands and be happy to travel and stay away from home
- Full UK driving licence
- Hold CSCS/PASMA/IPAF
- Be commercially minded
- Hold HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
