Position: Contracts Manager
Location: Need to be able to travel into Central London
Duration: Permanent
Salary: From £50,000 to £60,000 subject to experience level
We are looking to take on a Commercial Building Services Contracts Manager for a full time permanent position for a very well established building services company based in the Surrey area.
This position will be managing a commercial maintenance contract currently worth £500K, however this has the potential to grow in time. This contract will be managing multiple commercial sites within London which will be mainly offices. These sites will come with three mobile engineers that deal with the planned and reactive maintenance which will include water testing, plant room maintenance, fan coil and ahu maintenance, emergency lighting and all on site compliance.
The right person for this position could be a senior engineer who is looking to take their next step in to management positions or an experienced contracts manager with a strong technical background.
The position will have the contract manager attending sites for most of the week, being the face to the contract as well as dealing with site surveys, risk assessments, engineer training and giving hands on technical support when needed.
Requirements
• Experience as either a Contract Manager or a Senior Service Engineer
• Must have a technical background in building services maintenance.
• Happy to commute in to London.
• Experience in managing engineers.
• Must have a good rapport with clients and engineers.
• Able to conduct site surveys, risk assessments, small quotations etc.
• Happy to travel to Surrey at least a day a week to communicate with the office.
