North
£45,000 - £50,000 DOE Basic
Commission, Car Allowance, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Health Scheme, Life Insurance Pension and much more.
I am currently looking for an experienced business development manager to join our dynamic team as part of our growing Fire division. We are a leading Distributor to the Fire & Security industry in the UK.
The role:
- To develop new opportunities with existing key customers and target new account relationships to generate growth in the market to an agreed annual sales targets
- Identify and build a prospect bank of opportunities with key customers
- Identify where specific opportunities are and work towards converting them into new revenue. Establish communications with those that can benefit from Dynamic’s product range
- Develop and implement strategies for new projects, products and services with customers
- Qualify, maintain and log all projects for the customer base
- Effectively manage the relationship with existing customers
- Accurately update our CRM system with customer details
- Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with colleagues
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process; identifying opportunities, on-boarding customers, negotiating and closing pitches and liaising with vendors
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services
- Increase knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to enhance market position
- Ability to manage own diary and time effectively
- Attend trade shows and events as required
- Any other duties as necessary in the role
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous demonstrable experience in business development and key account management role
- Sales knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder & Fire within distribution
- Professional, business focused and results driven
- Strong individual with positive outlook
- PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages
- Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close deals’
- Problem solver who can generate ideas and solutions
- Determined approach
- Industry based experience
- Full UK driving license
