Lab Technician.
Job Description:
My client currently requires a Laboratory technician to support the design and technical department. Full training will be given.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain lab procedures and processes.
- Track and manage testing requests and samples.
- Conduct photometric, thermal, and other tests to ensure that products meet all applicable standards and expectations.
- Liaise with other departments to relay technical information in verbal and written forms.
- Create and amend product specification sheet using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Reformat product technical drawings in AutoCAD for use on product specification sheets, and online publications.
- Continue professional development by taking part in internal and external training courses relating to technical standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD would be beneficial.
- Work well autonomously, communicating effectively at each phase.
- Team player with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent project management skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- High quality communication skills.
