My client are a privately owned company with an outstanding reputation within the lift industry. Providing a fantastic level of service for lift maintenance, lift installation, lift repair and lift refurbishment. Due to continued growth and development within a busy area in London, my client is looking for an experienced Lift Engineer to join their team. This role is for Lift Engineer who is able to assist with minor lift repairs, assisting with servicing and completing survays.
Lift Engineer
Location: Central with occasional travel outside M25.
£40,000 - £45,000 (DOE), Night Call, Overtime, Van, Mobile & Pension.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Taking part in the company call out rota.
- Assisting with servicing and various tasks that a re required to ensure the team are hitting client KPIs.
- Working in various environments including houses, offices, private apartment blocks.
- Completing minor lift repairs including autodiallers, safety edges, shaft lighting.
- Attending lift breakdowns with the intention to complete repairs first time.
- Complete surveys.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Previous experience of working with various equipment including good and platform lifts, scissor lifts and hydraulic/traction passenger lifts too.
- NVQ level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
- Desire to develop in the role and progress within the business.
- Have an understanding of lift equipment and the ability to show you can apply lift engineering skills to maintenance and fault finding/diagnosis.
- Full UK driving licence (No more than 3 points).
- Be hungry to work in a role that will provide a hands-on fault-finding role.
- Be willing to have a DBS check
