Mechanical Fitter
Location: Greater Manchester
£19.00 per hour plus company van, fuel card, door to door travel, overtime, private healthcare, private pension, company days out and 24 days holiday excluding statutory days
We are a full turnkey solution providing design, installation and fabrication to Water Utility companies and Construction companies across the UK.
Due to planned growth, we are now looking for additional Mechanical Fitters to join the ever growing team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Setting out
- Stripping out motors
- Installing pump stands & brackets
- Working on a range of pumps related to the Water industry – centrifugal, submersible etc.
- Working on pipework – ductile, stainless steel and plastic
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Full UK driving licence
- Water industry experience would be a distinct advantage
- CSCS card
- Experience working with pumps – stripping down, installing etc.
- NVQ in Mechanical Engineering would be ideal but not essential
- Based within a commutable distance of North Manchester
